John Eaton Elementary School

John Eaton Elementary School is located at 3301 Lowell St NW and consists of three historic buildings with an adjoining connection in the middle, totaling approximately 52,560 square feet. The original school building was constructed in 1910, with a similar facility erected in 1922 and a multipurpose room built in 1930. The connecting corridor was later constructed around 1980.

GCS||SIGAL and Grunley partnered to modernize Eaton Elementary School. The scope included expanding the existing 49,100 SF building to accommodate up to 490 students with new academic areas, administrative spaces, restrooms, cafeteria and kitchen, storage, maintenance, and utility rooms.

GCS-SIGAL||Grunley Joint Venture engaged Atmos to monitor and oversee successful compliance with the District’s requirements, including CBE/SBE acknowledgments, subcontracting plans, Quarterly Vendor Verification Forms, and Multipliers.
