Malcolm X At Green Elementary School

Located in Ward 8, Malcolm X at Green Elementary School will be comprised of a combination of renovation of the existing building and new construction. The modernization will address Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements throughout, bring learning, instruction, and support technology up to cutting-edge standards and capacity, be designed to incorporate at a minimum LEED for Schools - Gold principles while achieving Net Zero energy, allow for simultaneous physical education and dining services, and integrate discovery commons, small group rooms, and resource rooms to accommodate special projects, collaborative work, and individual pull-out instruction.

GCS||SIGAL has partnered with Atmos to monitor and oversee successful compliance with the District’s requirements, including CBE/SBE acknowledgments, subcontracting plans, Quarterly Vendor Verification Forms, and Multipliers.
