Oxon Run Outdoor Fitness Park Construction & Site Improvements
Construction of an outdoor fitness park featuring exercise equipment, safety surfacing, shade structures, pathway connections, and supporting site and stormwater improvements.
Project Overview
The Fitness Park Construction and Site Improvements project delivered a fully equipped outdoor fitness area designed to support recreation, physical activity, and community use.
The project included installation of Greenfields fitness equipment or approved equivalents, concrete equipment footings, and poured-in-place safety surfacing to create a durable and user-friendly exercise environment. Sunshades approved by the Department of General Services (DGS) and the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) were also installed to improve comfort for park users.
Supporting site improvements included grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and connections to the existing pathway system. Together, these improvements created a more accessible and functional outdoor fitness destination integrated into the surrounding park environment.
