Rosedale Pool Renovation & Expansion

The Rosedale Pool Renovation and Expansion project modernized and expanded the outdoor aquatic facility adjacent to the Rosedale Recreation Center, improving capacity, accessibility, safety, and the overall user experience.

The project included selective demolition, new construction, and comprehensive upgrades to the existing pool complex. Major improvements included widening the lap pool with two additional swimming lanes, expanding the pool deck, and replacing the former infant pool with an enclosed splash pad. The main pool was enhanced with a new beach entry, waterplay features, stair access, and a perimeter skimming system.

Additional work included replacement of the pool deck and drainage systems, extension of the retaining wall, new fencing, shade structures, deck furniture, outdoor shower replacement, landscaping, and designated tree removal. The pool’s mechanical and water-treatment systems were also modernized with a new pump plant, filtration equipment, chemical-feed systems, a backwash tank, and associated piping.

The project incorporated accessibility, life-safety, security, IT, MEP, fire-protection, and roof improvements, along with supporting exterior upgrades. Preventive and corrective maintenance services were also included for the first year following substantial completion to support continued facility performance.
